JustUs Strategic Rollout Goes Rural

Working in close collaboration with the Tyrone based organisation, Rural Community Network (RCN), Gaslight Media Trust (GMT) delivered its second 'Facilitating JustUs Training the Trainer Programme' to a group 15 youth education practitioners.

'Facilitating JustUs Training the Trainer Programme' Participants

GMT hosted its second training the trainer programme over two consecutive days (February 20th & 21st 2018) at the offices of Rural Community Network, in Cookstown, Co. Tyrone.  

GMT wishes to acknowledge delivery of this particular training programme was supported by the Northern Ireland Housing Executive's 'Community Cohesion Fund'.

The large group of fifteen educators comprised:

  • One youth worker from the Education Authority (EA), Southern region 
  • One teacher from Craigavon, Co. Armagh
  • One youth worker from St. Columbs Park House, Derry
  • One youth worker from Mencap, Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh
  • One youth worker from Causeway Rural Urban Network (CRUN), Coleraine
  • Two youth workers from Glens Youth Club, Cushendall, Co. Antrim
  • Two youth workers from Galbally Youth & Community Association, Co. Tyrone 
  • One youth worker from Ogras Youth Centre, Coalisland, Co. Tyrone
  • One training officer from Laurentown
  • Two youth workers from the Dry Arch Centre, Dungiven
  • One youth worker with the Fermanagh Youth Development Programme
  • One good relations worker from the Rural Community Network, Cookstown
